About Ginger
BACKGROUND
Hey there! I’m Ginger, an 18-year old artist based in Sarasota, Florida. I just graduated recently from Pine View School (Class of 2026!), and have been involved in my city’s art scene for many years. During school, I was the president of National Art Honor Society, the production manager for my school’s drama club shows, and the president and founder of crochet club. I will be going to the University of Florida for a business major and innovation minor in the spring of 2027, and until then, I’ll be working on my business- painting murals, making pet portraits and enjoying the beautiful city of Sarasota!
EXTRACURRICULARS & AWARDS
Outside of school, I taught summer camp at the Sarasota Art Center, and my works were part of many of their juried exhibitions. I was an intern at the Sarasota Art Museum, and take many Ringling Teen Courses each summer. I’m a National Gold key and American Visions award winner in the Scholastic Art Competition. Around town, I like to do portraiture and face-painting for events around town sometimes (if you’re interested let me know!). My art has been featured on stickers, playbills, walls, magazines, logos, shirts, and more!
